Vigilance Cell

DGQA/Vigilance Cell plays a key role in addressing various issues related to the Government's drive against corruption, as far as it relates to the DGQA Organisation.

Function

• The routine functioning of DGQA/Vigilance Cell is guided by various policies, rules, guidelines, administrative work ethics, and the principle of natural justice.
• Taking immediate action on complaints regarding corrupt practices, misconduct, and irregularities.
• Initiation and processing of individual vigilance cases.
• Dealing with revision/review of petitions, appeals, and representations in vigilance cases.
• Review of rules, policies, and guidelines in order to eliminate corruption.
• Surprise/Vigilance Check Registers are periodically received and presented to DGQA with observations. Any irregularities found are addressed through remedial measures.
• Providing feedback/inputs to the Ministry of Defence on queries raised by CVC during the Annual Zonal Review Meeting with CVOs, covering areas like public procurement, e-procurement, complaints, reports, and electronic file tracking systems.
