Defence Export Promotion Scheme(DEPS)
- DEPC Scheme launched in Oct 2018 aimed at promoting the government’s ‘Make In India’ initiative.
- To improve marketability of products of prospective Indian defence exporters/ manufacturers globally.
- To assist the Indian private firms in achieving the ‘Make in India’ initiative and to test and improve their products, need was felt to streamline the guidelines for allotment and utilization of Proof/ Field Firing ranges.
- DEPC Status granted to 10 Vehicles/ Equipment/ Systems.
